Skate to great, one blade at a time!

The Panthers IceDen is proud to offer Learn to Skate USA classes which are endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating, USA Hockey, USA Speed skating and the Special Olympics curriculum.
 
Basic Skills teaches the FUNdamentals of ice skating and provides the best foundation for figure skating and hockey. Six progressive levels introduce forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers, and turns. Upon completion of the Basic Skills 1-6 levels, skaters will be able to confidently advance to more specialized areas of skating.
 

A Learn to Skate USA registration is included in your Skate School registration fees, this annual membership is required for all Learn to Skate classes.

Requires Helmet & Stick (Not Provided)

BASIC 6 - FREESKATE 6 | ADULTS |

Hockey Requires Helmet & Stick (Not Provided)

The class focuses on the beginner skaters, games, toys, songs & relationship building between parent and child, with a strong emphasis on learning & communication.

Snow Plow Sam

Designed for kids under six to build confidence while learning to skate incorporating fun and games making class time an enjoyable experience for all.


Tuesday - Thursday - Saturday - Sunday

Designed for kids seven and older.  These lessons put the FUN in fundamentals as your skaters enjoy learning the basics of ice skating.

Each Free Skate level is divided into three sections: skating skills, spins and jumps. The levels are designed to give skaters a strong foundation and it is at this point the skater can choose to pursue a recreational or competitive approach to the sport of figure.

In the hockey program, skaters learn how to be proficient and agile on the ice. Designed to teach proper techniques for the game of hockey are the primary focus. All elements are taught without a puck. Learning  basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, and other necessary fundamentals to be successful.

The adult curriculum is designed for both beginning and experienced adult skaters who wish to improve their skating skills. The program will help promote physical fitness and improve balance and coordination while teaching proper techniques.

Membership No Make-Up Classes, No Refunds! Sibling Discount of 10% off Second Child Not Valid for Drop in Classes | Amount taken off lesser value. There is absolutely no sharing of memberships!

Registration Fee: $29 valid through June 30th, 2020   (All Skate School participants are required to have a learn to skate membership. Learn to Skate memberships are not prorated).
