Facility Reopening


 In accordance with Governor Ron DeSantis plan to reopen the State of Florida, the Florida Panthers IceDen will begin a phased reopening on May 22nd, 2020.

As part of this reopening plan, effective immediately the following procedures will be implemented to promote safety for customers and employees within the facilities:

OVERVIEW

The Panthers IceDen will operate under a limited capacity. These restrictions will be put into place in order to ensure the safety of our staff, customers and the families that frequent the facility. Please understand that the guidelines outlined below are mandatory to maintain a safe environment and the Panthers IceDen reserves the right to deny access to anyone and remove anyone from the premises if protocols are not followed.

 

PRIOR TO AND UPON YOUR ARRIVAL

  • Ensure your lesson time is scheduled and paid for on Dash. If you have questions about payment or lesson times, please reach out to the Figure or Hockey Director (Contact information is available below) There will be no refunds for private lessons or ice time.
  • Hockey Coaches & Students are REQUIRED to be fully dressed with the exception of their skates when they arrive at the facility; only exception is for goalies.
  • Figure Coaches & Students are REQUIRED to be fully dressed with the exception of their skates when they arrive at the facility.
  • Everyone entering the building must be wearing a face mask and it must remain on for the entirety of your visit.
  • Please sanitize your hands upon entering the facility
  • Self-monitor health symptoms. If you experience any related symptoms be sure to self-quarantine and stay home.
  • Your temperature will be taken upon entering the building with a no-touch forehead thermometer, anyone with a temperature of over 100.0 degrees will not be permitted inside the facility.
  • Do not arrive more than 15 minutes prior to your lesson start time. You will be checked-in at the door and will have to wait outside should you arrive early.

DURING YOUR VISIT

  • All persons entering the facility are required to have a face covering and it must be worn for the duration of your visit.
  • When entering the facility, proceed to the rink where your activity will be held, do not go anywhere else in the building unless you are advised to do so by a staff member.
  • Guests must remain in their designated areas for the extent of their visit to the facility.
  • Please sanitize your hands throughout your time in the facility, bathrooms will be open for frequent hand washing.
  • The rinks will have designated “Entrance” and “Exit” signs, please follow the signs to help abide by social distancing rules.
  • Students and guests must depart within 15 minutes of the conclusion of their lesson.

    Do not congregate with any other guests/families in areas of the building or outside in the parking lot and maintain the rules of social distancing. Should you not follow this rule, you will be asked to leave.

 

These regulations are in place to keep everyone safe. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the appropriate department with the contact information provided below prior to your arrival. 

 


Hockey guidelines- as of July 19th, 2020

  • All teams will be given two locker rooms.
    • There is a maximum limit of 8 players per locker room, please sit in the marked off sections in each room.
    • We will be utilizing party rooms for games on the den rink.
  • Players benches will be extended with additional seating.
  • There will be no handshake after the games.
  • Players and spectators must exit at the designated exit depending on the rink you are playing on, unless you are going to the bar or pro shop after your game.
    • For Stadium, the exit will be at the front.
    • For the Den, the exit will be the exit that is in the spectator room.
  • Officials will be utilizing electric whistles.
  • Players that get into face to face confrontations with other players or officials will receive an ejection for that game.

PDL Guidelines:

  • Players must be dressed when they arrive except for skates, helmets, and gloves and cannot change back into street clothes after event.
    • Goalies can put leg pads on at rink
  • 1 Parent/Guardian per player can attend practices and games, no exceptions!
  • Players can show up no earlier than 20 minutes before scheduled events and must leave 15 minutes after each event.
    • Showers will not be available
    • Locker rooms will be sanitized after each event
  • Players that get into face to face confrontations with other players or officials will receive an ejection for that game.
  • Families are discouraged from congregating in parking the lot.

PAHL guidelines:

  • Players can show up no earlier than 30 minutes before scheduled event.  
  • While it is still strongly suggested that you come into the facility dressed, we will allow dressing in the locker rooms.  Seats in the rooms will be marked for social distancing.  Showering will also be permitted.
    • We will be enforcing a 15-minute time limit after your game ends and we will ask all players to vacate the locker room at this time so we can sanitize the locker room for the next group. 
  • The bar will be open, with additional service protocol and limited capacity. 
  • Spectators can come to the rink, but they must adhere to all social distancing standards and must wear a mask at all times. 
  •  Any scrum that involves players getting in each other’s face, or in a ref’s face, will result in an ejection for the game.
  • No dipping, or chewing tobacco
  • No smelling salts

Panthers Point Rules & Regulations- as of July 19th, 2020

 

  1. Hours of operation
    1. We will be following guidance from Broward County and the City of Coral Springs regarding dine-in and take-out.
    2. There is the possibility of hours being adjusted based on the guidance given to us. We encourage everyone to stay tuned to all forms of communication regarding hours of service for both dine-in and take-out.
  2. Social Distancing
    1. Masks are to be worn at all times.
    2. Once you have taken your seat, you may remove your mask to eat & drink.
    3. If you are leaving your seat, you must wear your mask.
    4. Once you have finished, your mask must be worn and worn correctly.
    5. Tables & Chairs are placed around the restaurant to keep our patrons and staff safe.
      1. There is no bar seating permitted at this time.
      2. Seating across the stadium railing is placed 6ft apart, with a limit to 10 chairs.
      3. Table seating is limited to 3 chairs per table.
      4. Please do not move anything around without a staff member’s approval.
    6. For everyone’s safety, please follow all of the signage around the restaurant and the rest of the facility.
  3. Ordering, Seating & Serving
    1. Panthers Point has a maximum capacity of 25 occupants.
      1. There is no standing room permitted at this time.
      2. If all seats are taken, please wait outside until a staff member shows you to an open seat.
      3. You are permitted to enter to place an order to-go, but must take your food/drink to an available food/drink area (i.e. stadium café)
    2. To place an order with a staff member, please follow the signage around the restaurant.
      1. There is no bar ordering at this time.
      2. Please enter, find a seat, and a staff member will come to your table to take your order.
    3. Once you have placed your order, a staff member will bring you your order as well as anything else you may need (condiments, paper goods, etc.)
  4. PAHL
    1. To be fair and give everyone enough time to use our amenities, there is a time limit on how long groups can use the restaurant.
      1. Each group will have 1 hour, or until the next teams have finished their game(s), to use the restaurant seating.
      2. The 1 hour rule also applies to the final game. This will allow our staff enough time to properly clean/sanitize the facility.
    2. We encourage everyone to take advantage of our take-out and preorder forms.

 

We reserve the right to ask anyone not following these rules and regulations to exit the facility.


PANTHERS PRO SHOP

  • The Panthers Pro Shop will be open from Monday - Friday from 12pm - 9pm, Saturday from 12pm - 6pm & Sunday from 10am - 9pm (Please check social media for updates to these times as they can change)
  • The store is 100% operational and will continue to price match the internet.
